ANNA K. LONG

Anna K. Long is an LA-based filmmaker, choreographer, and Certified Gaga teacher. Anna started her dance career in earnest at three years old, when, after watching a beat up VHS of Mikhail Baryshnikov's nutcracker, she took a solemn vow to never sit still again. Twenty years, one liberal arts degree, and many dance classes later, Anna became certified as a Gaga teacher in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Since 2013 Anna has made and performed works as an independent choreographer in New York, Chicago, Denver, and Stuttgart.

Anna began work as a writer and director in 2021. Her first narrative short, Death in the Desert, was awarded best short drama at Breck Film Fest 2024.

Anna’s an Associate Programmer for the Salute Your Shorts Film Festival and produces classes and public Gaga Activities in Southern California.
