open up

Open Up is a super short body horror by way of romantic drama. It’s a look inside the psyche of a woman in a relationship grappling with the urge to express monstrous truths buried deep inside her, as they violently surface in all aspects of her physical reality.

In July 2024 the proposal for this short was awarded Round 1 Winner of the Fujifilm Aspiring Filmmakers Award in partnership with Decentralized Pictures.

With the generous validation and support of the DCP and Fujifilm community, we intend to create a fantasy world on a teeny budget, using practical effects, movement techniques, and the incredible capabilites of Fujifilm camera and lenses to tell a story that connects with every film lover.
